RETURNS, EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR RETURNS
Customers may return their orders, in whole or in part,entro 14 giorni starting from date of delivery. Items may be returned for a change in size or refund.Please note that merchandise on sale may not be returtned.

Items must be returned in theiroriginal conditions , with all labels attached, and in the same box sent by FORTELA.

IMPORTANTE: Returned items must not have been worn, washed or in any way altered. Items must be returned in the same conditions in which they were sent to customers and must be adequately packaged, including all original accessories (dustbags, hangers, suit covers, etc.) received with the order.

Soles of shoes must be clean, with no signs of use.
For hygienic reasons, underwear and socks may not be returned.

Fortela reserves the right to:

– Not accept returned merchandise, and to send it back to customers, at their expense.

– Refuse unauthorized returns or returns that do not adhere to the above conditions, and to send it back to customers, at their expense.

– Assess the possibility of further charges that may be necessary to guarantee resale of returned goods – such fees will be determined after assessment of return conditions and then communicated to customers.

– Not accept returns on vintage clothing.

Security tags must be intact and attached to returned items.



INSTRUCTIONS FOR RETURNS
Should customers wish to return merchandise, they must email us at fortelashop@fortela.it and request a Returns Authorization Number (RAN).

The request must contain the following information:

- Order number

- Item code

- Reason for return

Fortela’s Customer Service will provide the necessary documents to proceed with the return.

Returns authorized by FORTELA must be sent from the same country the order was sent to.

Fortela reserves the right to refuse returns that have not been authorized or sent back in compliance with Fortela’s stated return policy. In such cases, FORTELA may return packages to sender, to the original shipping address.

Should FORTELA decide to accept an unauthorized return, 10% of the value of the reimbursement may be detracted.




SHIPPING COSTS FOR RETURNS
Fortela provides two methods for the return of merchandise. Make your choice when you send in your request for returns or exchanges.

1. Automatic method: Once you send in your request for a return to fortelashop@fortela.it, we will arrange for pick up, at your convenience. Place all items back in their original packaging (or in a rigid cardboard box), attach shipment label (provided by Fortela) to the box, and await delivery service pickup. Prior to pickup, the delivery service will contact you to confirm date and time of pickup.

2. Personalized method: Once return or exchange procedure has begun, you will be responsible for sending us back the merchandise in question. Use whatever delivery service you choose. We suggest you use a service that provides tracking. Here is our address for returns:

Returns are not free of charge. You may opt for a delivery service of your choice. Should you use Fortela’s automatic method, shipping costs will be deducted from reimbursement.

When returning merchandise from countries outside the European Union, import taxes may be applied. They shall be charged to each package that reaches country of destination, at customers’ expense.

Keep in mind that Fortela will detract import taxes from any reimbursements owed. As for exchanges, please make required payments before sending in new size requests.

Refunds normally require 6 to 12 working days from receipt of request; you will receive confirmation via email, as soon as we have processed your request. We issue reimbursements via the same methods of payment used for your purchase.

Paypal reimbursements are effective immediately. Credit card reimbursements may require up to 10 working days before they may be visualized, due to variable processing times among payment providers.

Please note that there are no reimbursements for shipping costs, including original shipping costs and shipping costs for returned merchandise (if you opt for Fortela’s automatic method).

Keep in mind that residents outside the European Union may incur import taxes on returns for exchanges based on size changes. Any import taxes will be charged to customers. Once payment has been made, Fortela will send you the requested merchandise to complete your exchange.

Fortela allows for the restitution of exchanged merchandise, and the process follows the same procedure as with standard exchanges. You have 14 days from the receipt of your new order to return merchandise, or exchange for a different size of the same item. In case of a return, Fortela will deduct the original shipping costs, if applicable, from the refund, along with any shipping costs for returns, should you opt for our automatic method.



REFUND POLICY
Refunds on returned merchandise are issued only after shipments reach the FORTELA warehouse for quality control.

For credit card orders, the amount of the refund should be available within 5 working days and visible on credit card statements. The time required for processing refunds may vary based on method of payment used.
Refunds for orders paid via PayPal or credit transfer shall be reimbursed to the same account.

Reimbursements shall be made using the same currency as payment, for any given order. Any differences in amount reimbursed may depend on variations in currency exchange rates, which shall not be subject to reimbursement.
