Rocky Mountain Featherbed is a brand born in Wyoming, the "cow boy" state, during the late 1960s. Their iconic product is a down vest with a one-piece, seamless leather yoke, inspired by the garments worn by Native Americans. From the long friendship that binds Alessandro Squarzi with Kinji Teramoto, - also a world-class vintage collector, one of the importers who created the vintage boom in Japan during the 80s and 90s -, today patron of the American brand Rocky Mountain Featherbed, a lasting collaboration was born.

Alessandro Squarzi wanted to combine the bold, outdoor-inspired style of Rocky Mountain with the classic, timeless elegance of Fortela.

This is how vests in nylon taffeta, leather and shearling collar were born, ideal for those who love the outdoors, but with the added bonus of the unmistakable Fortela style.
