Rome: places not to be missed
Antica Libreria Cascianelli is a true place of worship for collectors of books, antiques and rarities. A place suspended between a theatrical backdrop and a wunderkammer, it was once an ecclesiastical tailor’s shop where, in 1909, an historic bookstore was born. It still features original 19th-century furnishings, wooden boiserie, and blown glass. A cabinet de curiosité in the heart of Rome, just behind Piazza Navona, where you can uncover small relics, naturalia, old editions of scientific manuals, anatomical models, fabrics, and tapestries. A place to get lost in.

Ristorante Fiammetta
A place that speaks of history, tradition, family, and good cuisine. Since 1944, it has served typical Roman and Tuscan dishes in a warm yet elegant atmosphere. A “trattoria-pizzeria” beloved by artists and creatives in the neighborhood, located just steps from the Chiostro del Bramante, in the heart of the historic center.

The gallery I collaborate with— an historic name in the world of Italian art in Rome, just a few steps from Piazza di Spagna. Great artists— from Carla Accardi to Alighiero Boetti, from Guttuso to Sandro Chia— have showcased their works here, both at the Via Alibert location and at the historic venue on Via del Babuino.
