Alessandro Squarzi's long-standing friendship with Kinji Teramoto, also a world-class vintage collector and one of the importers who helped spark the vintage boom in Japan during the 1980s and 1990s, and now owner of the American brand Rocky Mountain Featherbed, has given rise to a lasting collaboration.

Alessandro Squarzi wanted to combine the bold, outdoor-inspired style of Rocky Mountain with the classic, timeless elegance of Fortela.
